A Tier 1 Investment Bank is looking to hire a Business Analyst as part of the core MIFID II programme team. You will be required to face off with front and middle office stakeholders to deliver technology solutions across multiple areas of the trade lifecycle e.g. Client interaction, trade booking and lifecycle management, reference data.

A Tier 1 Investment Bank is looking to hire a Business Analyst as part of the core MIFID II programme team. You will be required to face off with front and middle office stakeholders to deliver technology solutions across multiple areas of the trade lifecycle e.g. Client interaction, trade booking and lifecycle management, reference data.

Your responsibilities:

  • Act as a business analyst specialist for the MiFID II within the Investor Protection programme
  • Solicit and capture business and functional requirements through business and functional requirements documents
  • Liaise with stakeholders in the Front, Middle and Back office to document business and operational processes
  • Work closely with Technology stakeholders to understand requirements and agree on strategic technical solutions
  • Provide a point of SME knowledge through each stage of the project delivery
  • Define user acceptance test criteria and provide support to testers

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the analysis and enhancement of trading platforms and front to back business processes
  • Good understanding of trade lifecycle from sales/client integration to settlement
  • Good understanding of MiFID II or front to back regulator programmes
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills that can been demonstrated throughout career
  • Ability to clearly document analysis to ensure all parties involved understand the scope and requirements e.g. through the use of Use Case or Flow diagrams
  • Ability work across multiple business groups and domains, balancing interests of different stakeholders
  • Highly analytical and detail orientated when assessing requirements. Able to get to the root of what is required using not just stakeholder elicitation but also data analysis
  • Inquisitive personality that questions the status quo in order to better understand the problem and drive the best solution
  • Driven and self-motivated personality. The need to be able to quickly understand how multiple systems operate and couple this to complex business requirements to produce solutions is key
  • A strong professional presence, be able to liaise effectively with all key stakeholders understand their perspective and build relationships quickly.
