Our client is a leading boutique investment bank offering strategic advice in the TMT sector that helps entrepreneurs, corporate clients and investors in the art of deal-making collaboration across a suite of Advisory products. They provide impartial advice to clients that exist throughout the telecommunications, technology and semi-conductor ecosystems in the German technology market whilst based in London. They work on a range of buy and sell side transactions and are actively looking to hire to support an MD looking to grow their presence in the German market.

As well as a strong advisory track-record, they are also adept at carrying out restructuring of technology and telecommunication companies ranging in value from £100m to £multi-billion corporations. The successful candidate will be assisting in origination and execution of corporate finance transactions. You can expect to be responsible for handling client relationships in Germany, leading the production of client presentations, ensuring the quantitative analysis from junior members is correct as well as having an active role in executing deals and their origination.

The successful candidate will have a rounded and technical character with a passion for the rapid changes and appreciation of technology to disrupt established industries and a familiarity with business customs of the German market. They will join as an Associate or VP in a lean deal-team that is able to successfully deliver in time-sensitive conditions and be ready to forge fruitful client relationships and build their own network from day 1. A strong track-record of previous M&A TMT experience is needed as well as an autonomous demeanour. The rewards of the position can be immense with promotion prospects done meritocratically rather than through a structured system and an opportunity for a bonus that is upwards of 100% of base salary for the exceptional candidate.
