Your Objectives

Strengthen the capability of J. Safra Sarasin Credit Research in the Emerging Markets field by providing bottom-up analysis across selected regions and industries

Your Tasks

  • Carry out fundamental bottom-up credit analysis of selected issuers across Latin American Emerging Markets
  • Contribute to create a buy-list of recommended bonds and publish regular updates
  • Contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly flagship publications of J. Safra Sarasin Research
  • Contribute to the investment committees of the Bank by providing insights into covered Emerging Markets
  • Participate to Emerging Markets conference calls with portfolio managers and analysts from all J. Safra Sarasin's locations
  • Regularly communicate views or key investment recommendations to CRMs, senior management and selected media

Our Requirements

  • Master in business administration, economics or finance. CFA a plus
  • Minimum of five years experience as sell-side or buy-side credit analyst or as credit portfolio manager in the Emerging Markets field, with a focus on the CEEMEA and/or Asia regions
  • Ability to propose new ideas, to set up own framework and to take initiatives in order to enhance and streamline the credit research process
  • Ability to elaborate own views and to communicate them in a convincing and synthetic manner
  • Strong analytical and writing skills
  • Fluency in English and Spanish or Portuguese, German a strong plus
  • Good communication skills, teamplayer
