We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Vice President, Retail Banking Operations.

Principal responsibilities

  • Manages all Retail Banking Account Opening and Unsecured Lending Products related matters
  • Manage Activities within banking operations to maximize the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of the department across onshore and offshore entities
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements with the businesses and global service centres are consistently met and that customer service levels are of a continuously high standard complying with group standards and local regulatory needs
  • Support the retail banking business specifically aligned with the bank strategies and the objective of both line of business and group and regional teams
  • Ensure HSBC is able to comply with the regulatory conduct of business rules and also to ensure HSBC is not linked to or associated with any money laundering activities.
  • Collaborate closely with other Risk Management functions such as Risk and Financial Crime Compliance teams in Singapore
  • Help the head of banking ops with all operational support for the retail banking business

  • Degree qualified
  • Have worked in Banking operations
  • Preferably have retail banking experience
  • Previous experience with monitoring Service Level Agreements would be useful
  • Good communication skills
  • Good organisation skills
