We are recruiting an Applications Service Ops Manager at a VP level responsible for managing a large suite of BAU applications spanning front to middle to back office as well as providing some enhancement enhancement support.

Responsibilities 
 
Manage various IT business application teams (internal and outsourced vendor teams) that are providing on-going BAU application operations and maintenance/enhancement support for systems that are in production.
Manage production incidents and systems enhancements change requests for applications.
Analyse systems operations data (SLAs, customer satisfaction, quality, efficiency, etc) to identify actionable trends for continual improvements in application management.
Address any application issues that affect the application team’s ability to meet the requirements of business stakeholders.
Manage application logs and prioritizations.
 
Requirements 
 
A good Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or any related discipline. A PMP certification will be valuable but not mandatory.
More than 10 years of relevant working experience in IT Applications Operations, software development including SDLC usage in a banking environment. Knowledge and experience in Agile methodology will be an added advantage.
Good technical skills and competency in standard technology platforms Java, .NET, C#, SQL server, Oracle, etc, with good appreciation of systems development lifecycle, systems design and systems architecture.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Project management experience and understanding of project management methodology.
Ability to work independently with clear communication and a high attention to details.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills with a good understanding of cost and financial principles.
