VP, Group Process Excellence

Job Objectives
  1. Thought leadership: Pro-actively identify process excellence opportunities (to improve productivity and/or customer experience) and propose 'fit for purpose' solutions
  2. Stakeholder management: Be a trusted partner to key stakeholders to support effective implementation of business change
  3. Project delivery: Drive process excellence projects (across the Bank) with a strong ownership mindset that deliver improvement in productivity and/or customer experience


Key Responsibilities
  1. Thought leadership
    1. Proactively identify process excellence opportunities to improve productivity and/or customer experience
    2. Undertake scoping and evaluation of new initiatives - problem definition, structuring, approach, success criteria
  1. Stakeholder management
    1. Be a trusted partner to key partners/stakeholders
    2. Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects
  1. Project delivery
    1. Ownership of workstreams / project delivery from diagnosis stage to design to implementation / monitoring
    2. Results oriented approach to ensure projects have clear / tangible benefits that can be tracked
    3. Rigorous workstream/project management - e.g., ensure timelines/milestones are achieved per plan, spot potential problems & propose mitigation strategies


Requirements
  1. Proven track record in quantitative, analytical, problem solving and process design skills that can translate analysis into actions that meet business objectives
  2. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influence skills
  3. Passionate, diligent individual with ability to thrive in ambiguity
  4. Resourceful team player
  5. IT knowledge in a banking context is a requirement - you should be proficient with Banking IT and latest technology used.
  6. Related experience in process improvement / transformation projects (e.g., lean, Six sigma) in a banking context is a plus
  7. Top-tier consulting experience is a plus
  8. Bachelor's degree in engineering/ business/ finance or equivalent
  9. Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant banking experience with at least 2 years of relevant process transformation/ reengineering experience
