This is a role within the Global Payments Asia team within CIB Banking Technology responsible for the product backlog, functional design and driving the feature teams in the delivery of project requirements. The individual will work with the regional and in-country Product Managers to understand requirements and to agree on prioritization of the various initiatives, translate those into product backlog and be part of the agile sprints in defining delivery items as well as reviewing and accepting sprint deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Product and Technology partners to gather requirements and prioritize demand for payments delivery
  • Review the demand from end-to-end perspective to ensure requirements have been fully thought through and upstream/downstream impacts fully accounted; accept and sign-off Business Requirements Document
  • Deliver the end-to-end functional solution and to ensure the respective AD teams are engaged, agree to, and committed to deliver in the proposed approach
  • Deliver Functional Requirement Specifications that covers the end-to-end flows, including all possible exception scenarios
  • Engage the Application Owner of the respective apps to ensure all non-functional and stability requirements are included in the backlog
  • Organize Product Backlog Review sessions with the Feature teams and ensure that they fully understand requirements for every sprint
  • Organize sprint reviews / show-and-tell sessions to validate and sign-off deliverables after each sprint
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure that updated view of the timelines are captured in the project plan


Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • At least 15 years of experience in a business analysis or equivalent role with 5 years' involvement in understanding business requirements
  • Experience in managing senior business stakeholders across in global context
  • Strong exposure to software development lifecycle from initiation until implementation
  • Good knowledge on transaction banking especially on payments and collections
  • Track record in working with stakeholders across different geographies
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
