Position Overview

About DB Global Technology and Loud:

DB Global Technology (DBGT) is a dedicated software development center within the larger Deutsche Bank organization. DBGT is a dedicated application development and software engineering center that supports the Bank to access leading technology skills and promote innovation in the development of software applications and leading-edge IT solutions.

Loud stands for Loan origination and underwriting database. The application is responsible for origination of loans within the organization. The application is used by both front office and middle office for the workflow management of the loan. Loud also maintain various documents associated with the loan.

Position Available:

In order to meet the growing demand of the Loud businesses, an experienced senior Java developer is required to strengthen the current global Loud team. This position will cover both US-specific and global development requirements for Loud including rollout within APAC.

Loud is a proprietary in-house system used for Loan origination, underwriting and workflow management used by 300+ users globally. Its primary function is to assist the Loan Ops desk with originating and managing the workflow of the Loan.

Essential Technical Skills:

• 2-5 years Java/J2EE development experience.
• Experience in spring and Hibernate.
• Experience in Angular and Bootstrap with the UI testing framework.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle)
• Experience with design patterns usage
• Demonstrable experience using good testing practices

Preferable Technical Skills:

• HTML & JavaScript programming, such as AJAX, CSS, JavaScript, REST, SOAP, or JSON
• Experience with Git
• Experience with version control and build systems such as Perforce, Jenkins, Maven, etc.

Background / Work Experience:

• Experience working within an Agile development environment desirable, but not essential.
• Financial services experience especially in the Fixed Income & Derivatives product area highly desirable but not essential
• The candidate must demonstrate strong commercial aptitude / awareness and have an appreciation of the business drivers for technology

Education / Qualifications:

• Undergraduate Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, etc.) and/or equivalent experience.
