We move over EUR 1.6 trillion across the Bank's platforms, support thousands of trading desks, and enable millions of banking transactions, share trades and emails every day.

Position Overview

Role Responsibilities and Tasks

• Sets a vision for long term organizational success at global / regional business level and implements respective strategic plans
• Oversees development and execution of objectives, plans and policies and is accountable for continuous efforts to improve Deutsche Bank's competitive Position and its performance
• Ensures financial success by controlling budget planning and management as well as the P&L
• Maintains internal and external key business relationships
• Ensures the alignment to the DB risk management framework as well as to current regulatory and compliance requirements

Experience/ Exposure

• Relevant experience in the Technology Business Analysis profession required
• Experience in the Financial Industry preferred
• Experience in Analysis of regulatory requirements preferred

Core competencies

• Proven delivery for complex, bespoke applications engaging with multiple global stakeholder groups, with focus on process assessment to ensure constant improvement in output
• Sustained exposure to liaising internally with IT teams and business users in the context of programme deliverables
• Strong presentation and documentation skills as well as written and oral communication skills in English
• Expert knowledge of business analysis techniques with ability to document current process flows with associated issues and risk and re-engineer future flows where applicable
• Experience working with virtual project teams (vendor, test team, controls team, users, etc.) across multiple locations
• Ability to understand and manage competing scope and priorities across multiple deliveries in varying jurisdictions

• Comfortable communicating across business divisions and levels of seniority
• Strong team player with the ability to take ownership and deliver independently
• Awareness of cultural environments and operation within a diverse professional and global environment
• A ‘can do', pro-active, positive, team originated and management awareness attitude
• Ability to show initiative and self-motivation
• Ability to produce accurate results under time pressure and to tight deadlines

Technical skills

• Understanding of databases / data models to support needed volume analysis, data reconciliation and exception management as may be required
• Advanced MS office suite including: Access (with understanding of data objects, data normalization table relationships, primary keys and indexing with the ability to quickly identify data inefficiencies and resolve), Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Solid understanding of workflows and Objects
• Ability to understand data flows, as well as system and manual processes
• System architecture and design skills

Other core Competencies

• Excellent attention to detail
• Skilled at problem solving and solution generation
• Strong analytical skills - Ability to assimilate information quickly and gain consensus from multiple stakeholders where required.
• Good product knowledge across asset classes preferred
• Experience in operations or prior business analysis experience in a project environment preferred
• Previous experience defining / executing User Acceptance Testing preferred
