The strategic program team at SCB are responsible for all large global initiatives that span countries, technologies and internal lines of business. The team consists of technology specialists, program managers, project managers and implementation resources that design, budget and execute transformational programs to bring the technology and associated services in the bank to best on class.
Job Role:
The candidate for this role will be part of the strategic program team and have responsible for the Unified Communications work stream that will define and deliver the next generation communication services for the bank. The candidate will shape the program, define multi-year budgets, define the technology and execution strategies, lead the program RFP and RFI's to select the managed service partner and technologies to be implemented as part of the program. The candidate will run a team of program, project and implementation managers to help deliver the work stream and must be able to communicate at a global CIO level. The program will be responsible for USD +100M over the managed service term.

* Senior Unified Communications Program Specialist
* Manage internal stakeholder relationships
* Manager external supplier relationships
* Set program technology, execution & resource strategies
* Define and be responsible for program budgets
* Ensure the program governance is robust and meet internal audit requirements
* Align the Unified Communication program to other strategic programs
* Drive the RFP to down select a global managed service partner
* Drive and other RFI's to down select new technology where required
* Mange the contract and service schedule creation and socialisation
* Build and manage a team to deliver the program
* Engage internal contributors as required for the success of the program
* Lead a Unified Communications service transition program post contract signature
* Lead a Unified Communications service transformation program post contract signature
* Driving automation into the delivery of Unified Communications services
* Deliver global Unified Communications at appropriate price points
* Improve end user experience
* Travel as required

Qualifications and Skills

Qualifications & Skills:
* Held Director level roles running similar technology and programs in the finance industry
* Held senior positions in Unified Communications engineering, delivery and operations teams
* Minimum of 20 years' experience dealing with communications technologies
* Minimum of 20 years' experience working in the financial sector
* Hands on experience delivering Unified Communications infrastructures
* Professional technology specific academic qualification
* Ability to develop and manage large strategic programs of work
* Run programs of a similar natures and complexity
* Capable of building team and recruiting the right people
* Excellent communication, negotiation & presentation skills
* Extensive experience in large contract creation and service modelling
* Extensive experience is managed service commercial modelling
* Experience governing a managed service supplier delivering into a global finance company
* Experience in termination of a managed service agreement
* Self-motivated and driven to deliver projects in a challenging global multi-cultural company
* Extensive knowledge of Unified Communication and Trader Voice products and suppliers
* Ability to work in a high pressure situation with tight deadlines
* Excellent written, oral communication and reporting skills
* Good time management and organizational skills
* Ability and desire to learn new skills quickly
* Extensive experience managing and contracting with telco carriers
* Extensive experience managing and contracting mobile phone providers
* Understanding of the global regulatory landscape applicable to finance companies
