Description

  • Demand Manager works with partners from countries, regional, global businesses and technology teams for release submissions each quarter and compiles into Book of Work (BOW)
  • Maintains the BOW through the demand phases tracking all the changes to the submitted scope working with Business solutions group, Business requestors, Regional Working Committee members and other Technology groups
  • Work with business groups and prioritization councils on project prioritization process for quarterly releases; when there is more demand than capacity, work with Technology and business groups to review trade-offs and determine which projects move ahead and which get cancelled; facilitate the conversations and make the trade-off recommendations based on data analysis
  • Develops relationships with stakeholders across countries, regional and global groups and various supply groups
  • Hands on with tools like sharepoint, EXCEL, preferably OPPM to ensure smart management of BOW and timely reporting to Management.
  • Provides regular reports during demand phases to track the release progress till release fitment by prioritization councils.


Qualifications

  • The Demand Manager owns the Book of Work (BOW) submission process from countries, regional and global businesses
  • Capacity Allocation and Management across various supply groups, based on annual budget
  • Determine the suitable skill set mix within Global Product Development (GPD), Shared Services (SS), CTO and Global Shared functions (GSF)
  • Work with business groups and prioritization councils on project prioritization process for quarterly releases; when there is more demand than capacity, work with Technology and business groups to review trade-offs and determine which projects move ahead and which get cancelled; facilitate the conversations and make the trade-off recommendations based on data analysis
  • Defines and prioritizes business and technology demand: identify, evaluate and adopt to follow global demand management and solutions delivery services
  • Develops relationships with stakeholders across countries, regional and global groups and various supply groups
  • Influences and negotiates with senior leaders (across functions); may communicate with external parties
  • Provides regular reports and updates to senior management, ensure alignment of conflicting program priorities to common goals
  • Manages a team of Demand Coordinators to evaluate potential demand from multiple parties (Business, Compliance, Operations, Technology, Risk, Info Security, etc.)
