Description

  • Business interaction and presentation skills
  • Relationship and engagement management with country, region and global BI stakeholders from lower to senior management
  • Complete coordination with internal product processor teams
  • Communication with PMO/Scrum Masters for project deliverables
  • Delivery management of all Sprint artifacts addressing compliance and quality standards
  • Implementation management with hands-on experience on project risk management, requirement management, communications/stakeholder management and project financial reporting
  • Showcase solid requirement and scope management, business analysis, stakeholder and escalation management, and overall delivery management for BI domain
  • End-to-end BI deployment and release management for Business Intelligence focusing on Credit Risk and compliance Domain
  • Groom a competent development team in close partnership with partner vendors and successfully deliver relevant and impactful business value by supporting critical Compliance and regulatory requirements
  • From BI module depth, cover the full suite of Consumer Banking from Core Cards, Core Retail Banking, Operational/Risk/Compliance and Regulatory Reporting
  • Ability to network and build key alliances within technology organization and regional business, and effectively govern implementation/release plans and strategy together with Global Business Process counterparts and PMO partners


Qualifications

  • Preferably a Degree or Masters in Statistic or Mathematics and/or BI new technology (Big Data tools, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical, communications, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Solid understanding of database concepts, ETL concepts (IBM Data Stage), Data warehousing processes, Unix, shell scripting/ XML, experience with IBM BDW/Terradata/SAS BIS/Cognos
  • Experience in designing performance management applications/executive dashboards around Enterprise-wide data warehouses in Consumer Banking domain
  • Very good understanding of ETL source system integration and frontend design patterns, BI architecture, data quality and metadata management
  • Experience with batch scheduling and turning, database design/ architecture and integration of the front-end MIS delivery systems
  • Good knowledge of data warehouse data modeling techniques/Erwin Data modeler tool
  • Competency in a range of technologies including J2EE 1.4/1.5, Java 5x, JSP, Rich Faces, Adobe Flash APIs, Application Server (Web Sphere), Rule Engine concepts, Open Source Tools (Log4J, Drools, Xstream), Aspect Oriented Programming, and emerging technologies
  • Proven IT management experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Domain
  • Solid Consumer Banking domain understanding, with an ability to initiate/sell/design BI application framework and plan/drive/control implementations; knowledge of Corporate Banking, Private Wealth Management and PMP concepts/certification
  • Implementation management. with hands-on experience on project risk management, requirement management, communications/stakeholder management, and project financial reporting
  • Ability to effectively network across the different levels of the organization, both business and technology internal and external partners
  • Professional maturity, ability to network & build key alliances within technology organization and regional business, and enforce/refine Governance rules to support G2C/Productization goals within the regions he manages
  • Demonstrates thought-leadership, initiative, independence, and willingness to learn
  • Be able to take effective judgment calls that will benefit the bigger organization and resolve conflicts, while being a positive change agent for the growth of the department and business he support.
