To manage a team to deliver regular and adhoc Retail Banking, Business Banking and Collection reporting

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all Group and Country Reporting are done accurately within timelines and proper reconciliation process in place. Perform periodic review on reporting process to ensure compliance of regulations and Group guidelines and well document in DOI. Support the independent audit review and ensure all issues are closed promptly
  • Support Group & Country reporting and list generation such as AFPQR, RCO packs and large ticket size monitoring list to support the portfolio monitoring and ensure the compliance of Group guidelines
  • Co-ordinate ad-hoc MI and presentation decks to senior management such as market environment, portfolio credit quality overview, early identification of watch list, support data for portfolio management actions and stress test results
  • Ensure loss forecasting and budgeting exercises deliver on time and accurate
- Ensure the robust process of recognition of individual impairment (IIP) and adequate portfolio impairment provision (PIP)
- Ensure proper reconciliation of Provision balances with PSGL
  • Manage expense reporting and forecasting exercises deliver on time and accurate, and ensure cost within budget
  • Roll out PPQ phase 2 that built extended team in Bangalore for supporting reporting activities so as to achieve the cost targe
- Provide knowledge transition and on-going training on market knowledge & regulations
- Establish proper control and reconciliation process to ensure data quality and timely delivery
  • Support RDF activities and implementation
  • Support BCBS 239 projects for Group and Country
  • Support Probe upgrade project to automate Credit limit management, Inactive closure and Credit Card & Mortgage scorecards computation.
  • Ensure Collections MIS to monitor KPI, capacity planning, collection scorecard collector incentive scheme review and supporting for champion / challenger strategy execution
  • Improve operation efficiency by automation. Maintain and develop risk capabilities, skills and infrastructure to meet ongoing needs and plans. Support the system infrastructure upgrade for Collections Management, Credit Decisions and risk reporting/analytics agenda
  • Ensure proper management of customer sensitive data
  • Adherence to Operational Risk Framework (ORF) in the process of identification, control and monitoring
  • Timely escalation and follow up the identified potential operational risks at the relevant forums
  • Compliance with group policies and standards, local regulatory guidelines
  • Ensure adherence to the local regulatory and Group Outsourcing framework with adequate governance oversight on unit's outsourced activities, sufficient on-boarding and ongoing due diligence of external / internal service providers, effective service level management and unit's compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Ensure satisfactory results with no significant issue of all the internal reviews/external audits and timely follow-up of audit action point
  • Ensure Fair Dealing Outcomes to Customers
Key Measurables:
- Deliver the internal reporting accurately and on time
- Deliver the CRAFT, PRA Portfolio review
- Ensure smooth migration of MI to RSSC
- Ensure compliance of country, group & regulatory guidelines and obtain dispensation for identified gap
- No significant issue in audit finding and minimal audit comments on governance

Qualifications and Skills

  • Prior exposure in Consumer Banking Analytics in Consumer Credit, Finance, Decision Science for a minimum period of 8 years
  • High degree of familiarity with BASEL 2 matrices for Standardised Approach and AIRB under MAS 637 guideline
  • Exposure to Portfolio analytics and their applicability in Consumer Credit management techniques
  • Experience to the system implementation / UAT for Regulatory Reporting System (BCRS, RaY)
  • Medium level knowledge of SAS; Credit data-mart management
  • High level of initiative, commitment and team spirit; strong commitment to deadlines for self and team
