Our client is a leading global banking institution operating across global markets, asset and wealth management, Investment, corporate and private banking. They are present in over 150 countries and employ many thousands of people across the world. Singapore is seen a large strategic hub location and the head quarters to the region. Due to a number of large programmes they are looking to appoint a IT Programme Director for Private Bank.

Due to a number of large programmes they are looking to appoint a IT Programme Director for Private Bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage large scale and complex technology programmes - own and manage the effectiveness of the plan, governance, risk mitigation, policies, directives and procedures.
  • Provide detail and clarity on scope and work with the other regional leads to ensure consistency and avoid any duplication
  • Manage the programme via local governance that would feed into the centralised Programme governance, processes, risk management, progress tracking and reporting
  • Effectively manage the resources and people strategy, including all shared resource conflicts, influencing and leading a community of project management personnel
  • Engage, collaborate and build relationship with and influence key stakeholders, which enable efficient, collaborative operations
  • Be accountable for the forecasting and management of programme budget allocated to the region, and management of all cost issues
  • Identify and manage conflicts around business delivery plans whilst maintaining integrity of the business case.

The Successful Candidate

  • Strong track record delivering strategic large scale, complex transformation technology programmes within global and complex organisations
  • Demonstrable experience in managing the financial, organisational and commercial elements of a programme and organisation
  • Experience in delivering large platform solutions for Private Banking/Asset/Wealth Management
  • Excellent strategic agility, communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Confident, affable nature and able to build relationships and credibility in order to get things done
  • Excellent presentation skills and the ability to articulate and sell a vision
