Head, Digital Payments

Drive overall Payments strategy and roadmap
• Define and Drive overall regional alternate (non-cards) payments strategy, capabilities & roadmap aligned with the overall bank and cards strategy
• Work closely with local and international schemes, regulators, payment challengers and other suppliers/ providers to create/ participate in scalable payment solutions
• Work with eco-system players in the payments value chains to help OCBC tap non-payment strategies to retain ownership of payments (e.g., POS management, order. Inventory management, etc)
• Proactively work closely with Cards and corporate banking to develop solutions leveraging, aligned with and building on the bank's overall strengths
• Work with Segments teams to provide relevant payments solutions for chosen segments
• Define and drive overall payment loyalty strategy integrated with payments strategy
• Define overall merchant solutions strategy (with a view to drive consumer adoption)
• Keep abreast of relevant Payments developments locally and internationally - keep strategy informed of developments as well as evangelize with internal stakeholders
• Lead Regulatory engagement on Payments - to ensure OCBC as a key payments provider aligned with national agendas

Drive development of digital payments product/ solution
• Develop end to end business cases for new features, products & partnerships and manage end to end delivery of solutions/ products working closely with all stakeholders
• Ensure close partnership with marketing, product, engineering and project teams to ensure alignment between our product strategy, marketing, and business execution
• Develop payments solutions to ensure OCBC payments is embedded in day to day consumer lifecycle and ensure OCBC is top of mind for payments in the region
• Define and deliver overall payments digital app to take care of end to end payment needs for consumers
• Define and deliver overall API approach for payments and loyalty working closely with the e-business team
• Define overall merchant solutions required to drive adoption at merchant and hence by consumers

Drive overall alternative payments revenue
• Define overall P-L, MIS and analytics for the payments business in CFS across products/ segments
• Drive adoption (consumer & merchant) and revenue for alternative payments forms, bill payments, remittances, P2P remittances
• Establish new lines of payments business

Manage non-card payment products
• Manage all product aspects of non-card payments products including pricing, product features, end to end customer experience
• Work with value chain partners to provide the most competitive customer proposition and experience

Develop Partnerships and Eco-system
• Work with Lifestyle/ Cards to create merchant support and adoption and usage programmes for new and alternative payment products
• Develop new payment eco-system partnership to drive payments growth

Qualifications
•8 years experience in payments space •Technical understanding of payment platforms
•Ability to efficiently influence, negotiate and manage expectations at the executive management level
•Demonstrated analytical problem solving and judgment skills
•Highly developed stakeholder management and communication skills
