To focus on building stronger control framework in WM to ensure compliant business growth in a regulatory environment that is constantly changing.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Governance and oversight  in overall risk and control framework across WM products
  • Strengthen and build risk and control framework which facilitates business growth
  • Maintain robust risk and control framework to ensure audit-readiness at all times
  • Deep dive and identify regulatory risk, global, regional and country product policy risk,  operational/process risk
  • Assess key risk indicators and evaluate & validate existing product controls. Identify significant regulatory, operational and franchise risks related in each of the WM pillars.
  • Partner Product Heads and Control Functions to manage the risk, implement corrective or enhancement initiatives on an end-to-end basis for all distribution channels.
  • Implement  new global, regional and country risk and control policy requirements and processes including the reinforcement, enhancement, rationalization, and streamlining of such processes  for WM products
  • Implement new industry and regulatory requirements and processes including the reinforcement, enhancement, rationalization, and streamlining of such processes for WM products
  • Standardization of key control process across WM products.
  • Drive consistency related to PP documentation for common processes across WM products
  • Partnering with WM unit heads in the coordination of WM MCAs, internal and external audits, regulatory reviews
  • Lead WM tools or risk managements projects which enhances process controls.


The ideal Candidate will meet the following requirements:
  • Bachelor degree with 10 to 15 years professional experience in audit and governance of the financial sector
  • Good knowledge of relevant regulatory environment;
  • Good knowledge of banking and financial services;
  • Detailed understanding of Investment, Insurance, Liability and Treasury product specifics and risk management requirements relevant to each;
  • Detailed understanding of Citi policies and procedures relevant to the WM Products area;
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills;
  • Flexibility in thought and approach
  • Ability to work effectively in team setting.
  • Ability to drive tasks through to completion by maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders across functions.
