  • Responsible for driving sales within the Citigold Acquisition space and delivering on business' central growth strategies. The role is principally managing a team Citigold Acquisition Managers for acquiring high value customers by consultatively offering the most appropriate proposition and services to drive acquisition and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will achieve results through working with various internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and thoroughly understanding and deploying effective sales strategies taking into account the competitive and industry landscape
Job Purpose:
  • Responsible for managing a team of Citigold Acquisition Managers
Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieved or exceed given KPIs with key focus on acquiring Citigold New-To-Bank customers
  • Manages sales leads from identification and initial contact through close, carefully tracking and auctioning leads across the sales cycle
  • Conducting research to understand target prospects, setting appointments, listening to customer needs and consultatively offering the most appropriate proposition and services
  • Generating new business opportunities from internal and external sources, including existing clients and other channels within the bank
  • Perform detailed KYC and due diligence of the prospect. Ensuring all legal and compliance requirement is met
  • Adhere to all ROE
  • Tracking and reporting on sales performance including pipeline, acquisition results and market conditions
  • Keeping up-to-date on products, competition in the financial services space
  • Building external relationships and creating business development opportunities through referrals
  • Developing key internal relationships


  • Consultative selling experience (proven track-record of meeting and exceeding sales goals) in a telesales/campaign sales environment
  • 2 years of sales management experience in a banking environment preferred
  • Demonstrated strategic ability to link Citibank strategic and financial objectives and customer goals
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships and manage a lead pipeline across the sales cycle
  • Excellent oral and written communication, and relationship building abilities
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with customers both internally and externally and at all levels
  • Ability to establish/maintain credibility with customers and partners
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • High levels of initiative, self motivation and time management
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel skills
