As a Segment Manager, you will provide support to the Segment Head in growing business franchise of segment and ensure smooth operations in Product & Segment team. Besides developing marketing programs to harness market opportunities, you will also be given the opportunity to develop new initiatives, tailored to the needs of customers from the respective segments across the wealth continuum, while driving revenue growth.
If you have a minimum of 5 years marketing experience in the banking industry and possess strong analytical thinking skills, this position will appeal to you. Job Purpose:
Support Segment Head by managing and executing business strategies of responsible segment to build franchise and meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Segment Head in growing the Citibanking and Citi Priority business franchise of segment and ensure smooth operations in Product and Segment team.
Value Proposition:
  • Develop and execute content and key Value Proposition for new emerging affluent segment:
    • Forge new partnerships and managing client privilege programs
      Ideation and execution of wealth and lifestyle events
      Integration of Financial Education materials and activities
  • Acquisition:
    • Drive acquisition numbers through various channels:
      • Telesales, Direct Sales, Citi Priority Acquisition Team, Citi@work and Citiphone
    • Plan Branch activities, roadshow and events that will help drive acquisition numbers
    • Leads management to ensure quality leads are provided for Telesales team and Citiphone for cross sell
    • Regular training and refresher to all front liners on value proposition and NTB offers
    • Implementing sales tactical challenges and leads generation program
    • Explore and develop new acquisition channels, solicit joint promotion partners
    • Plan Publicity, ATL as well as BTL to drive acquisition
      Develop sales kits, scripts and placemats for new products
  • Global Banking:
    • Own and manage the Global Banking portion for all banking segments, handling:
      • Monthly regional updates on any initiatives and activities
        Daily Country activities and enquiries from Global Servicing Centre
      • Facilitate customer's cross country account opening
        Revenue updates
      • Create awareness and drive usage for Citibank Global Transfers and Global View of Accounts usage through digital media
  • Product Management:
    • Plan Publicity, ATL, sales kits, scripts and placemats for new products
    • Analyze wealth reports, competitor and trend analysis to ensure competitiveness in the wealth management space
    • Drive overall customer NPS (Net Promoter Score):
      • Develop and implement client programs to increase customer engagement and satisfaction across rewards, recognition and events
      • Develop digital strategy as part of acquisition and customer engagement model
      • Oversee usage programs for the emerging segment, including external vendor management, maintenance of service levels, managing customer queries and problem resolution
      • Oversee privileges program to ensure alignment across segments; develop ways to scale experiences in a cost effective manner
  • Reporting and Presentation of Data:
    • Data management
    • Presentation deck compilation and presentation to various levels and departments
  • Others:
    • Manage Payments to vendors
    • Manage expenses and accruals, focusing on Marketing
    • Expense Efficiency
      Update website and other client communications when necessary
      Ensure overall risk control with full adherence to all laws and regulations and Citigroup policies and procedures


Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience/

Technical Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years marketing experience in banking industry
  • Segment management experience
  • Independent, resourceful, meticulous, self-starter, able to follow through projects and escalations from point to point
  • He/she should also be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
