The Technology and Operations team designs, develops and maintains computer application systems to support banking operations and provide innovative IT solutions, while harnessing new technologies to meet corporate objectives. In addition, we centralise, standardise and regionalise like-activities to achieve economies of scale and improve/re-engineer end-to-end processes to achieve world-class standards.

 

DBS has been innovating the way it does banking, with the understanding that the way in which customers live, work and bank is changing dramatically. The drive to be at the forefront of this change was set in motion in 2010 by CEO Piyush Gupta, and the bank’s innovation efforts today are anchored around three big ideas:





  • An increased focus on digitisation to further enhance efficiency

  • Making the customer experience more interactive and intuitive

  • Analytics and the use of Big Data, both structured and unstructured

Working with internal stakeholders and external collaborators, we chart a next-phase innovation roadmap for DBS to enhance customer experience and better engage the bank’s customers in today’s digital landscape.

 

Key Objectives & Accountability





Support an ambitious and challenging 5 year business innovation and diversification strategy through the Innovation Factory





  • Generate new ideas and business streams to grow the factory and enhance DiG’s reputation across Asia

  • Support a dynamic stakeholder management strategy that will enhance DiG’s reputation and secure new business including through strategic partnerships and acquisitions

  • Provide expert insight on developments in technology, learning, digital inclusion, digital government, community development, social innovation and related learning agendas

  • Facilitate, mentor and coach innovation programs and projects

  • Make a definitive impact on Asian banking while having fun



Requirements

  • 5 years of Coach level in LEAN Startup and Design Thinking a must

  • Proven track record and experience in managing change management projects

  • Experience in project management preferred

  • A hands-on team player who is able to see the big picture, possesses a can-do attitude and able to handle ambiguity.

  • Strong interpersonal, coordination and planning skills.

  • Good command of written and spoken English

  • Highly proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
