The Global Cybersecurity organization's objective is to ensure that JP Morgan Chase is able to effectively detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats against our technology infrastructure. The scope of Cybersecurity comprises detection and monitoring of threats and vulnerabilities, managing security incidents, and evolving our preventative infrastructure to keep ahead of the threat. We accomplish this through strong information security leadership and active collaboration with line of business (LOB) information risk managers to provide high quality security solutions and services that are focused on improving the Firm's risk posture.

Within Global Cybersecurity, the Asia Pacific information security office is focused on the development and execution of our Asia Pacific cybersecurity strategy. It provides critical support to our firm-wide cybersecurity program through strong partnerships in the region internally with our lines of business and also externally with our clients, industry, government partners, and regulators.

JP Morgan has been established in Singapore since 1965, and is one of 13 strategic Technology Hubs for the Firm globally.

Role: Asia Pacific Cybersecurity Business Analyst

In this role you will work within the Asia Pacific information security office with responsibility for supporting the Asia Pacific Cybersecurity business. The role will encompass reporting, relationship management, prioritization, workforce management, and analysis. You will be responsible for the development and execution of analytics, programs and presentations to support the Regional Information Security Officer and the Cybersecurity organization more broadly. You will work with counterparts globally to define and improve essential metrics and reports for senior management.

You will foster strong relationships across LOB (Line of Business) heads, Business Management/Project Management teams, HR, Finance, Communications, Compliance, Audit, and execute on Cybersecurity related agendas, action items and deliverables.


  • Work with global counterparts in Cybersecurity to ensure consistency in how the business in Asia Pacific is operating
  • Perform detailed analysis on processes and initiatives in order to provide APAC requirements
  • Support the continued improvement of management reporting in the region for cyber security
  • Coordinate effective regional partnership in our exercises, drills and simulations
  • Partner closely with stakeholders across other LOBs and functions to achieve common practices across:
    • Location strategy and capacity planning
    • Global technology Strategic Initiative (DRIVE ) Awareness / Execution
  • People strategy, including recruiting, retention, and training

Skills and Experience:

You are a professional, preferably from a Technology and/or Training background, with 6+ years' experience:
  • Strong collaborator with ability to foster relationships effectively with diverse groups across geographies; demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of an organisation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, plus the ability to achieve goals through influence and cooperation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong data analysis and problem solving skills
  • Excellent reporting skills and presentation preparation skills
  • Proficiency MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint & MS-Visio with working knowledge of SharePoint
  • Confident and organized
  • Self-starter with initiative, accountability, and ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team
