The scope of Cybersecurity comprises detection and monitoring of threats and vulnerabilities, managing security incidents, and evolving our preventative infrastructure to keep ahead of the threat. We accomplish this through strong information security leadership and active collaboration with line of business information risk managers to provide high quality security solutions and services that are focused on improving the Firm's risk posture.

Within Global Cybersecurity, the Asia Pacific information security office is focused on the development and execution of our Asia Pacific cybersecurity strategy. It provides critical support to our firm-wide cybersecurity program through strong partnerships in the region internally with our lines of business and also externally with our clients, industry, government partners, and regulators.

Role: Asia Pacific Cybersecurity Business Analysis Lead

The APAC Cybersecurity Business Analysis Lead role will be varied, requiring you to understand the Cybersecurity business and how it operates as a Line of Business (LOB) at JP Morgan. You will work for the Regional Business Integration Director as part of a team of Business Analysts, supporting the Regional Information Security Officer and Cybersecurity team as a whole. You will be required to identify core priorities, launch initiatives for the APAC Cybersecurity team, manage training and communication on Cybersecurity and drive the adoption of global programs in the region. This role will require strategic analysis skills to identify key challenges and analyze potential opportunities for the Cybersecurity LOB. Strong communication skills will be required to lead discussions across all levels of the firm and to convey Asia Pacific requirements to the global team.

For the training aspect of this role, you will implement the global Cybersecurity training strategy for the Cybersecurity team in Asia Pacific, for the Technology division, the broader firm and also external clients and partners. Close collaboration will be required between Asia Pacific and the training leads in other global locations. A project-management mindset will be required to execute effectively on the training strategy for the region.

A communication and awareness program on cybersecurity is in place globally but needs to be strengthened in Asia Pacific. Your role will be to understand the existing processes for cybersecurity communications in the region and globally, and to identify and implement improvements for both internal and external communication (including client engagement and outreach). A strategy is required to improve awareness of the Cybersecurity team, cybersecurity as a function and the impact across the region. The strategy should incorporate formal and informal communications, include on-line and off-line approaches, and be creative and appealing to a broad audience.


  • Foster relationships across the global Cybersecurity team in order to ensure APAC is effectively integrated in strategic initiatives and APAC requirements are identified and absorbed into broader programs
  • Foster strong engagement with the training leads globally in order to effectively influence the global strategy
  • Develop a strategy for assessing the training status in the region on a measurable and repeatable basis
  • Define high quality executive management reporting on training
  • Define the communications and awareness strategy for cybersecurity in the region
  • Improve engagement across business and technology via cybersecurity training and the communication and awareness strategy

Skills and Experience:

You are a professional, preferably from a Technology Business Analysis/Project Management background, with 10+ years' experience:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, plus the ability to achieve goals through influence, collaboration and cooperation
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization from senior business executives to technology specialists
  • Demonstrated ability to define and execute a strategy with transformative results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent reporting skills and presentation skills
  • Confident and organized with strong reasoning and influencing skills
  • Self-starter with initiative, accountability, and ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team
  • Adaptable and able to multi-task - strong project manager
  • Experience in a global firm and working within virtual teams is a plus
