A tier-1 Financial Services institution is looking to build their Cloud Engineering team, with an aim to modernise its Cloud capability, moving it towards efficiency and automation.

Cloud Engineer

A tier-1 Financial Services institution is looking to build their Cloud Engineering team, with an aim to modernise its Cloud capability, moving it towards efficiency and automation.

The Cloud Engineers will be responsible for the development of Cloud Engineering portfolio, evaluating its products and services, delivering the target architecture and capability pipelines, and subsequently providing support for the Cloud product set.

Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of experience in related technology engineering infrastructure development on an enterprise level
  • Managed development of entire product life-cycles, testing, implementation, systems administration and support
  • Strong knowledge of networks and cloud technologies for design and build for both public and private cloud
  • Strong technical knowledge of Unix and Windows host operating systems, including archive, backup, storage
  • Strong communicator and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead and influence direction and strategy of Cloud Engineering team
  • Good understanding of AWS and DevOps
  • Knowledge of Compliance and Regulatory standards and constraints
  • Ability to write technology proposals and business recommendations
  • Self-starter and capable of working with little or no direction to deliver projects
