Business Analyst (Life Insurance Domain)

Principal Accountabilities of Position:
Functional Responsibilities:

  • Ensures requirements management standard are implemented as part of the deliverable
  • Accountable for requirements management, business scope and functionality of the solution
  • Responsible for ensuring agreed functionality has been implemented into the platform
  • Ensures requirements document are updated and version control maintained
  • Works with other teams to resolve issues, clarify requirements
  • Support UAT team during testing and rollout phases

Essential Experience, Skills and Competencies:
Experience of:
· Between 3 - 5 years of business analysis, system analysis and functional testing support
· Good English communication both verbal and written
· Experience in talking to different set of stakeholders
· Exposure to insurance industry will be an advantage
· Can do attitude/ Right attitude towards work
· Commitment to project
· Good logical and analytical and thinking ability

Domain Knowledge
· Knowledge of Life Insurance is mandatory
· Life Insurance platforms / product knowledge is an advantage
· Knowledge of policy administration processes is mandatory
· Certifications in Life Insurance from LOMA, Singapore Insurance Institute, CII is an advantage

· Strong skills on the following:
o Requirements documentation via Use cases, user stories, functional specification document
o Stakeholder discussions via interviews, workshops
o System analysis and documentation
o Experience in requirement traceability
