A market leader and trusted financial advisory and capital market services company, my client is now looking to bring on board a highly dynamic individual for the IT support division.

about the job

Sitting in a team of 5, you will work closely on rotational shifts(8am - 4pm / 12pm - 8pm) with 1 other member of the team that will focus on the support of Sophis systems in the company.

Besides supporting the Sophis application for the business, you will also be supporting critical production issues for their Risk and P&L reporting.

You will also perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents so as to support an effective problem management process.

skills & experience required

To ensure the success of the role, you should have the following:

  • 5+ years of proven application support experience within the Sophis application stack
  • Solid domain knowledge in Equity Derivatives and its trade life cycle is a must
  • Knowledge of Linux, Unix scripting, Java, Scheduling tools
  • Strong understanding of ITIL Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to be able to interact with stakeholders and management
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or relevant fields
