A rare opportunity has arisen to lead a global support team in FIS. Based in Christchurch, you'll be right in the heart of our development centre, managing our remote support staff and responsible for servicing our expanding client base.

You will require a strong customer service ethic and problem solving skills. It would be preferable if you have a relevant tertiary qualification plus some knowledge of accounting procedures.


You’ll need to

•Create a superior support environment which focuses on putting the customer first. You’ll combine your knowledge of issue management and software release planning best practices, with the aptitude to lead and manage a diverse, distributed support team
•Actively ensure effective support systems, tools and processes are in place, striving for continuous improvement
•Work effectively with the wider cross functional team, providing input to sales and presales processes and ensuring effective hand over of projects from delivery services
•Manage monthly internal client services forums
•Actively participate in ongoing Ambit Asset Finance product training

•Be able to work under pressure to deliver resolution on priority issues


Ideally you’re

•An exceptional leader, who is a strong communicator, with high energy and a solutions focus
•Have experience with issue management and software release planning
•Familiar with the entire software development lifecycle, databases and SQL scripting
•Have experience in financial markets or treasury

•Able to assess client needs and to deal creatively with competing requirements
