We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Assistant Manager, Global Standards Data Management.

Principal Responsibilities

  • The key aspects of the role are to deliver the Global Standards based on required timeline and structure and in accordance to the required standards.
  • Oversee the development, monitoring and use of data systems in relation to the usage of data for RBWM towards business (productivity), AML and Sanctions (Control) and regulatory requirement (BNM). The role holder will need to efficiently organize, store and analyze data with attention to business usage and compliance.
  • Ensure the data quality is safeguarded to meet the RBWM FIM standards and BNM standards. Create and enforce policies for effective data management.
  • Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data.
  • Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis with attention to all technical aspects.
  • Establish rules and procedures for data sharing with upper management, external stakeholders etc.
  • Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.)
  • Ensure digital databases and archives are protected from security breaches and data losses.
  • Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorize maintenance or modifications.
  • Complete the deployment phases and milestones to set up the Global standard structures before deployment.
  • Ensure branches clearly understand what is required and able to adhere to requirements.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • At least 2 years in Retail branch environment, preferably in the capacity of Customer Service Manager or equivalent.
  • Strong technical background and understanding in terms of how RBWM uses the data and basic knowledge of system architecture, some working knowledge in RBWM operations will be an added advantage.
  • Systematic and meticulous.
  • Preferred experience and knowledge on accounts opening, compliance, Know Your Customer and Anti Money Laundering.
  • Knowledge and experience in rolling out and participated in projects is preferred.
  • Self starter, well organized and able to work independently.
  • Demonstrate attention to details and sense of urgency to meet required timeline.
  • Able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines and be change oriented.
  • Excellent written communication skills - ability to clearly document the current state and the recommendations.
  • Ability to build connections and work collaboratively across the Group.
