Account Executive (Financial Services)

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

    • Mostly deployed for 1 client and is based at the client location. In exception situations, an AE may support 2 clients and in some cased there can be more than 1 AE at large diamond clients
    • Responsible to sell all Application Services work with a continued focus on Capacity Service sales for Financial Services.
    • Work as part of the Account Leadership team under the sponsorship of the Client Account Leadership (Individual CALs can determine the governance mechanism within the accounts as they deem appropriate).
    • Working through the process from Sales origination to closure
    • Measured on sales and Annual Contract Value (ACV) achieved against target. Sales will get 75% weightage while ACV will have 25% weightage, should be in Sales Capture role to get credit for Account Executive bonus.
    • AEs will charge 40% on the project sold and 60% on BD.
    • Report to CSG AS Sales Lead

Basic qualifications

Skills & Experience

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in Sales/Business Development, focus on selling Technology/Application Services in particular
  • Strong background in Financial Services industry
  • The ability to work under pressure and assimilate large quantities of information quickly, while maintaining attention to detail
  • Have a good business sense, target oriented and highly proactive
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Ability to prioritize work, operate independently, multi-task, deliver agreed goals and results within the agreed timelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to influence key stakeholders
