Application Support Analyst

Our office is located in Tokyo's core business district Marunouchi, housing Societe Generale's three entities in Japan: Societe Generale Tokyo Branch, Societe Generale Securities Services and Lyxor Asset Management.


Major Accountabilities / Principal Responsibilities:


  • Provide technical and functional support on business applications for users of various SG entities in Japan and the AsiaPac region.
  • Respond to and analyse user's production-related queries with others ITEC teams when required
  • Manage communications with Japanese exchanges and vendors, including screening of information released by the exchanges when necessary
  • Perform other tasks as defined by ITEC/PRD management
  • Participate to testing and release of new programs when required
  • Promote ideas for system enhancement and initiate proposals for system stability
  • Estimates the risks and opportunities in our day to day job, take initiatives to reduce the risks and improve our efficiency.

  • Knowledge of FO and BO environment and securities business
  • Strong technical skills around Unix and SQL
  • English and Japanese at the business level, speaking and writings
