End User Services
End User Services is part of Global Technology Infrastructure and works with Line of Business partners to develop standardized, resilient operating environments and to implement a global technology strategy that meets business demand while realizing cost efficiencies for the firm.
We partners with the lines of business and other technology groups to provide best-in-class service for end-user technologies comprised of desktops & laptops, virtual desktops, e-mail accounts, wireless e- mail devices, real time communication, as well as remote access service for all our business users.

Real Time Communication (part of End User Services)

  • Consists of Unified Communication, Multimedia Services, Trader Voice and Call Center Services. The group provides strategy, architecture, engineering and operations for the critical products that sit within this portfolio.
  • Trader Voice Services provide robust voice communication tools designed for the demands of trading environments This includes point to point lines, hoot and holler access, voice recording services, speed dials and intercoms.
Role Description
  • Provides technical expertise, design and operation support (Tier III) on all Trader Voice products and infrastructure including network design.
  • Sets standards for new and existing technology and communicates technical information with colleagues both inside and outside the firm. Provides guidance on process improvements
  • Product Development and Support- Analyzes new products and services and articulates future direction including impact on existing environment. Co
  • Problem Management-Troubleshoots problems. Addresses all operational issues, analyzing and implementing a tactical solution while pursuing root cause. Insures accurate problem identification, ticket documentation and customer/vendor dialogue
  • Vendor Management-Reviews and oversees implementation of all product and service installations. Articulates the business value and impact of technical and non-technical information and understands when to escalate
  • Project Management- Delivers project and process documentation for all Trader Voice projects. Communicates all technical requirements and manages installation or technical elements. Provides guidance on all cross impacting technology initiatives.


Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in e ngineering, computer science, MIS, relate d field and or technical training. Must have strong analytical skills . Master's degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 7+ years experience required in Network/Voice and Voice-related disciplines in design and implementation services.
  • Strong background in IT service delivery role (i.e. engineering support for projec ts).
  • Has participated in design and implementation of major IT projects.
  • Experience in process re-engineering efforts, process, and maturity quality management best practices (ITIL, Six Sigma, MOF/MSF, etc.) is a plus
  • Proficiency in Python, PERL, Shell Scripting and macro's
  • Strong Experience in Deploying and Operating Linux, UNIX and/or Windows at the SA level with a strong bias towards automated deployment and operations experiences
