Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC's worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. Global Asset Management fulfills its purpose of connecting HSBC's clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager, Wholesale Business.

Principal responsibilities

  • Work closely and provide reliable marketing and business development support for channels including Insurance, Commercial Banking and Retail Banking
  • Originate fund briefings, market analysis, fund positioning, pitches and complete administration or any follow up as required
  • Contribute and enhance the performance of the Group channels
  • Provide high level of services to various group business with regards to investment services
  • Share key information to enable the group to enhance its corporate knowledge and improve competitiveness across product, service and marketing
  • Increase client satisfaction with effective implementation
  • Identify local and regional sales trends which the Asset Management group can capture to broaden business opportunities for the benefit of clients

  • Degree in a relevant discipline
  • Experience working with a large asset management company
  • Experience covering a diversified base of clients or other relevant investment related work
  • A self starter with an ability to use market knowledge to acquire new clients
  • Understanding of wholesale products and various other financial products and instruments
