~~Job Duties:

 

Use proprietary computer software to rebalance funds as needed, to invest cash and accommodate admissions or withdrawals
 

2.       Ensures that securities held in portfolios are appropriate for the goals of the account and monitors results for consistency. Ensures that portfolios adhere to mandated guidelines and restrictions

 

Reports on performance of funds/portfolios under management and investigates tracking differences relative to respective benchmarks
 

Stays abreast of new developments concerning regulatory issues that may affect the funds/portfolios under management or result in new opportunities
 

Assist local relationship management and sales teams in maximizing business relationship and stimulating cross selling opportunities throughout the region
 

 

Knowledge and Skills:

 

Knowledge of modern portfolio management theory and applications, statistics, and quantitative methods in finance
 

Knowledge of securities and derivatives markets acquired through work experience
 

Experience in trading global equities, derivatives and OTC foreign exchange transactions
 

Knowledge of fiduciary responsibilities and the legal and regulatory contexts within which investment decisions are made, to ensure that investment activities are in compliance
 

Client contact and sales skills are required to respond to client inquiries and to actively assist in the marketing of portfolio management capabilities
 

Excellent English communication with the ability to communicate messages credibly with clarity to a wide variety of audiences.  Proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin preferred. 
 

A robust self-starter, with the motivation, commitment, enthusiasm and drive to define clear goals and inspire people to achieve them
