The business analyst with related subject matter expertise will support the Data Reference Global Project manager to enhance the custody and clearing and fund services platforms with strategic approach to reference datga globally and /or run ad hoc projects as a result of business reprioritisation and focus. The role will involve all standard aspects of formal program management for the various project streams which make up the program and also a large amount of daily maintenance of data cleanup and analysis
The senior business analyst works closely with the data reference project manager, Product Development, COOs, Operations Heads and other stakeholders to ensure a complete view of ongoing initiatives is fully transparent and where not on track, are escalated and addressed.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Functional responsibilities * Support the reference data head with day to day analysis of both instrument and client static to enhance STP processing and minimise manual intervention * Provide planned and ad hoc analysis to support reference data program * Work with market data vendors to provide data quality and ensure data integrity Main areas of responsiblity * Stakeholder management, ensuring all program communications are timely, accurate and professionally structured to meet varying stakeholder needs. Work closely with Technology and Operations change leads to ensure standards are met * Work closely with Technology and Operations BAU leads to ensure that all elements of the projects have strong hygiene, meeting internal project audit and compliance standards * Implement and manage a robust and balanced program risk register taking ownership for risk resolution and escalation plans across all projects in Securities Services ITO * Provide subject matter expertise in project management in countries and hubs when required * Build strong virtual team, managing and actively resolving conflicts * Partnership growth with TB Product development and Technology teams to define the target operating model for project management and tracking across ITO, Product Development and Sales * Implementing and managing a strong benefits tracking and traceability process across the Securities Services Technology and Operations portfolio Governance * Embed the Group's values and code of conduct in countries and hubs to ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations * Adherence to financial discipline by working within the budget parameters, formalising requests for FTE growth and investment through quantifiable metrics, incorporating and/or validating appropriate resource requests originating through new client mandates.

Qualifications and Skills

Market Knowledge: - Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the firm operates - Understanding of custody, clearing and settlement process and key associated market risks - Proven track record to quickly get up to speed on new areas, concepts and products Business Strategy and Model: - Awareness and understanding of the firm's business strategy and model appropriate to the role - Track record in delivering continuous improvement and effective change management tracking and reporting - Experience in developing, managing and refining strategy papers Risk Management and Control: - The ability to identify, assess, monitor, control and mitigate risks to the firm. Also, an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the firm and the role the individual plays in managing them Financial Analysis and Control: - The ability to interpret the firm's financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures Governance, Oversight and Controls: - the ability to assess the effectiveness of the firm's arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas Team Management: - Proven experience managing a high performing team in similar functions and ability to apply to virtual team - Ability to inspire, lead and engage with people at all levels to deliver and drive change
