An international asset management firm is looking for an outstanding candidate to join as Private Bank Distribution Director. The position is based in Hong Kong.

Our client is an international asset management firm with an international presence. To cope with their business expansion, they are seeking an outstanding candidate to join them.

As part of the of the Asia wholesale team and the role is to work on the development of Global Private Banking and regional banking distribution businesses. To develop the Independent Wealth Managers business including the Family Offices relationships, both in collaborating with the private banks and in working on one-on-one account relationships. Assist in brand development by developing key relationships in the direct wholesale channels and provides support in product development for Hong Kong and other Asia markets. Work in the Hong Kong wholesale, sub-advisory and family office businesses and will report to the Head of Asia Wholesale Business. Drive Global Private Banks and Regional Private Banks businesses in Hong Kong and broaden products distribution opportunities by successful empanelment of products in different asset classes. Build relationships with a diverse group of contacts and achieving sales across a number of different markets, including Hong Kong wholesale banks, private banks, wealth managers, family offices, multi-managers and appropriate distribution platforms. Responsibilities for all aspects of business and relationship development, sales, product marketing, client servicing, client and intermediary training and marketing.

To qualify for the position, you should be a Degree holder with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience. Proven experience of direct selling to private banks and wholesale client channels. Results based role with a successful and proven track record of sales. Experience in delivering sales using intelligent strategic and tactical approach. Possess strong existing relationship with gatekeepers and some of the key stakeholders of family offices in Asia. Understanding of asset classes and financial markets. Knowledge of Investment markets and relevant products, portfolio management experience preferred. A thorough knowledge of key competition and the competitive environment.
