Job Description

To supervise, control and manage daily operations for supporting Wealth Management (WM) treasury products operations (Fixed Income, Structured Note, Structured Deposit, FX etc).

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Team supervision (in country and hub centre) to ensure services are delivered efficiently and effectively, in compliance to group policy and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to Securities and Futures Ordinance, Banking Ordinance
2. To ensure all services delivered meet the expectation of Wealth Management business.
3. To formulate risk management controls plan in daily operational matters to ensure the entire operations are well controlled.
4. To ensure projects (systems and operations) are well managed and result delivered to cope with the business direction.
5. To work together with Business and Technology in providing user requirements on system development and enhancement.
6. To build and maintain close working relationship with business partners (internal & external)
7. To maintain capacity planning in the most cost effective manner
8. To identify opportunities in streamlining workflow and improve processing efficiency including but not limited to automation and hubbing, etc.

Qualifications and Skills

* Solid working experience and management experience in financial industry.
* Business proficiency in English both in oral and written
* Team management experience
* Strong people management and inter-personal skill
* Understanding of investment market operations including settlement with custodian/ issuers
* Project Management relating to investment operations
* Self-starter and pro-active. Independent working and can work under pressure
* Banking operations experience and with wealth management products knowledge including bonds, structured products, FX etc
