The primary focus of this role will be to provide BAU Operational IT Support for the IAM Global business based out of Hong Kong.
The primary focus of this role will be to provide BAU Operational IT Support for the IAM Global business.
Main responsibilities include:
•To provide proactive and reactive support of the Global server Infrastructure, including daily monitoring of system loads, backups and server alerts.
•Provide a high quality IT support service including 1st line up to 3rd support to the global user base
•This role is heavily focussed towards BAU IT support and monitoring of services, though there will be the possibility to get involved with projects when the opportunity arises.
•To ensure that all Information Security controls are maintained and carried out in line with our policies and your standard daily procedures. Controls are not circumvented without approval.
•To ensure that any risks or control deficiencies are escalated/reported and resolved in a timely manner.
•To ensure that user end-point protection within IAM, including Anti-virus & Encryption, is consistently deployed and updated on all PC's and servers within the Northern Hemisphere/Southern Hemisphere.
•To ensure that administrative privileges don’t introduce additional risks to our environment.
•To help create user awareness about the risks we are mitigating through our Information Security controls
•To maintain client & user confidentiality
•To be generally aware of compliance and business risks
•Ensure that the IT infrastructure is securely configured in line with our policies and that the secure configuration is maintained
Technical Knowledge and Experience:
•At least 5 Year’s experience in an Infrastructure support role
•Experience providing daily BAU and Operational IT Support
•Systematic and logical approach to resolving problems
•Experience of day to day routine monitoring of IT systems
•Significant experience supporting up to 3rd line level in a Windows / Microsoft global environment
•Significant Experience supporting and administering Windows Server, Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.
•Significant Experience supporting Global Email environments using Exchange and Secure Email Gateway technology
•Experience of Administering and support Virtualisation technologies – VmWare and / or Hyper-V
•Basic SQL SSMS Experience
•Experience of Skype for Business including enterprise voice features or similar Unified Communications
•Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN , TCP/IP s and Firewall Technology
•Experience Administering Storage Area Networks
•Experience of administering Systems Centre
•Experience of administering Back up Technologies – Symantec Backup Exec
•Must be fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Desired but not essential:
•Experience of O365 and Azure Technologies – Migrations and Managing a Hybrid environment.
•Experience of PKI – Certificate Management
•Experience of BCP and Disaster Recovery
•ADFS and Reverse Proxy Technology
•Load Balancing Technology including Netcaler and WNLB.
•Market Data Application Support – Bloomberg
•VPN Solutions including MS Direct Access Configuration and Support
•Palo Alto Firewall and Cisco Switching
