Description

Job Purpose:
Product Manager is responsible for the profitability and competitiveness of the FX Custody product; this includes but is not limited to the following:   identifying new client opportunities, developing client solutions, educating Securities Services sales partners on the product, liaising with FXLM sales and trading partners, and ensuring that Citi maintains its high level of governance standards.
The role will drive the definition and strategic direction of the product offering and its market positioning, ensuring product evolution through continual analysis holistic model to meet client and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify new sales opportunities by partnering with Market Services sales teams
  • Drive product innovation to meet client needs while developing a scalable global model
  • Ensure profitability through P&L management and  sales initiatives
  • Work with Compliance, Technology, and senior management to ensure that the products continues to meet local regulatory requirements as well as Citi's highest internal standards

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:
  • The ideal candidate should have an excellent understanding of FX products
  • Familiarization of custody products is preferred
  • The candidate must be able to build relationships both internally and externally to ensure the selling and growth of the product
  • Knowledge of market and regulatory environment is a must
