Job Description

Provide daily support on cheque clearing operations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

*Perform maker role to verify and validate transaction request, execute different kinds of transactions as authorized including but not limited to Cheque, Autopay, CCASS, Payroll, Book Transfer, Internal Transaction Posting, etc.
*Conduct account reconciliation, clearing and settlement operation according to various specific internal and external cut-offs.
*Handle internal and external customer inquiries / complaints confidently and reliably
*Report promptly to officer / supervisor for any irregularity
*Assist in collecting data and prepare regular management information reports.
*Participate in projects assisting to provide user requirements, conduct tests such as UAT and perform drill tests, etc.
*Provide operational support to various Business activities and Ad-hoc initiatives.
*Perform other duties as delegated and assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Skills

*F5/DSE or above
*Preferably with exposure in financial institutions particularly in banking operation and branch operation a definite advantage
*Preferably having exposures or experience in cheque clearing and electronic clearing operation but not a must.
*Mature, responsible, self-motivated, fast learner, independent and willing to accept challenges
*Able to work under pressure, tight deadlines and stressful environment.
*Good team players with pleasant character and logical thinking.
*Good interpersonal and communication skills.
*Good knowledge in Microsoft (including Excel and Word) and PC skills.
*Good command of spoken and written English, Mandarin preferable
*Able to work on shift duty
