An international asset management house is looking for a high calibre to join as Credit Manager/ Assistant Manager. The position is based in Hong Kong.

Our client is an international asset management house. They focus on providing clients with global investment solutions that meet the demands and challenges of sophisticated and complex investment and economic circumstances. With steady growth, they are now looking for a high calibre to join their team.               

Responsible for performing and checking fundamental credit analysis on issuers and counterparties across Asia. Actively monitor latest news/events/developments related to the investment portfolios to ensure the validity of internal credit opinion and timely reviews of the credit ratings as proposed. Provide insightful and timely credit feedback on new investment proposals, annual reviews, rating proposals, market analysis and credit/industry cycles, and support in necessary reporting requirements. Prepare for country risk reviews across Asia Pacific, macro-economic analysis and ad hoc assignments on the country specific developments. Perform checks and review the assessment on the new application / annual review for the operating cash banks. Monitor the credit limit utilization/excess position, and advise on the necessary internal approvals. Assist in the internal/external audits for credit matters on the investment portfolios. Provide feedback on the enquiries from head office on the investment portfolios in relation to the credit rating. Periodic review and update on the investment policies and procedure manuals for different Asian countries. Lead and participate in other ad-hoc projects/requests as needed.

To qualify, you will be a degree holder with around 4 to 7 years of relevant experience, corporate banking experience is a plus. Good excel skills. Attend to details. Sound analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. Dynamic and good team player.
