A Leading investment bank with a strong wealth management business is seeking a high calibre project manager to identify and execute improvement projects on time, within budget and according to the agreed quality plan in the transform strategies. The incumbent will also facilitate the design and planning of various cost optimizations programmes and implements new processes and organizational changes to enhance customer centricity, operating efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Drive process improvement in various strategic projects and programmes to meet targets for quality, time and cost to the satisfaction of project sponsors
  • Responsible for managing a pre?determined list of transversal processes by Implementing Key Performance Indicators (KPI) on the in scope processes; reviewing the KPI with relevant stakeholders and to recommend process efficiency ideas, service level improvements, or risk reduction ideas; reviewing results of the Key Surveillance Points (KSP) findings that occur on the process; consolidating all change requests on the process, and facilitating prioritization and grouping of such requests as well as ensuring impact analysis is performed on the in scope processes when other change is being realized
  • Enhance efficiency of the Wealth Management departments by giving solutions to day to day problems as far as systems and procedures; suggesting systems enhancements as well as recommending light systems development
  • Contribute to the system implementation by analyzing and specifying requirements for new systems; proposing plans for a consistent use of systems between Wealth Management centers where applicable and ensuring systems implementation is consistent with medium term strategy
  • Contribute to the operational permanent control framework by suggesting improvements to the permanent control framework; identifying weaknesses in the control framework and propose change where appropriate;
  • Contribute to the planning of the medium term direction for Asia Wealth Management by identifying areas where Wealth Management can achieve economies of scale; working with the Corporate Development Team and providing analysis or due diligence on proposed projects and validating these propositions with the Regional Head of Organization

Requirements

  • At least 8 years financial services industry experience
  • Strong knowledge / experience in leading Wealth Management Projects
  • Strong knowledge / experience of process improvement
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills required
  • Certificate in Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Agile/Scrum, Prince2, PMP, ISO and/or TQM
  • Ability to inspire, engage and influence people
