The purpose of this role is to support the Global Securities Services ITO Management team to track Securities Services Technology and Operations Financials against budget, challenge countries and hubs on both direct and allocated costs and provide transparency

Manage and expand the Business Planning Management activities to include:
* Tracking of actual cost versus budget, drilling into allocated cost to explain to stakeholders what the Operations bill include and why, challenge allocated costs and drive down
* Together with Sales and COO team perform a regular review of client and product profitability and drive discussion and decision to exist non profitable business and work with Countries and Hubs to eliminate work
* Develop and execute communications plan
* Create ad hoc management presentation materials when required

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 10 years' sound track record in operational and/or technology risk management in a conglomerate bank
  • Experience to set up the control governance framework independently
  • Industry best practice in risk control metrics & tools
  • Excellent stakeholder management and balanced view in building adequate controls
  • Basic understanding of Clearing and Custody, Funds, Trust and Trustee functions
  • Excellent business acumen with driving decision based on partial unknowns
  • Excellent business communication skills
  • Excellent in analytical tools: Excel (Must Have), MS Access (Plus), QlikView (Plus), Tableau (Plus)
  • Independent self-starter with little / no guidance
  • Balance between independently remove obstacle without upward delegation vs. Timely escalation
