Do you have a knack for technology? Can you multitask and work efficiently while supporting others? We're looking for someone like that to:
–manage local projects (Desktop Virtualization /BOYD/ UBS IPADS) and report back to key business stakeholders
–inventory management, maintenance and support of local hardware
–providing workstation (Desktop & Laptops) support for Asset Management Revenue Generating Users
–upholding high standards for timely issue resolution
–contributing expertise to the management of existing and new IT products and services
–defining workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements
–working on complex 3rd level complex technical issues in desktop environment including desktop hardware support
–MDS client support (Bloomberg, Reuters, Factset, TR Eikon / IRESS and Quick)
–site power down/ up support activities

Desk Aligned Services [DAS] provides our business partners with client-focused, technology-based Onsite support & solutions. You'll be part of the Asset Management DAS Team in Technology Services; providing support to trade-floor front office business users in the bank, ensuring the quality, stability of the desktop environment and supporting business managers in planning IT project requirements. DAS plays a critical role in providing solutions to unique business applications, core application and operating system.
The Asset Manage Global DAS Team currently has 6 engineers providing Desk Aligned services. The team works closely and will often reach out to each other when additional support or knowledge is required. Each engineer is required to manage their own regions tickets/escalations and requests but have the reassurance that help is available if required.
Your experience and skills
– the ability to solve complex issues in a short space of time
– prior experience in a Trade-Floor onsite desktop support
–strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out)
–market Data Applications knowledge and support (Bloomberg, Reuters, Factset, TR Eikon and Factset)
–capable of troubleshooting and configuring Blackberry / iPhone / iPad
–fluent in English
