Mission

Responsibilities

The Transversal Project Team for Market Activities is hosted within the Global Markets (MARK) COO department of Societe Generale. The team is in charge of leading various types of missions for the business and for this 6-month temporary contract in particular, the successful incumbent will be responsible for the definition and execution of remediation plans for a specific scope within Market Activities for the APAC Region.

The successful candidate will be working closely with a number of different departments including Operations, Finance, Sales and Trading teams as well as business heads / managers. Each assignment is expected to be executed and completed with strict and proper governance.

You will be providing regular updates to stakeholders and formalized project management deliverables including but not limited to scoping notes, meeting minutes for Project Steering Committee and Operational Committee. You will also be in charge of spotting and gathering any areas for improvement as well as risk areas that may be found during the assignment(s), and reporting/escalating them to management in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Rigorous with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
  • Pragmatic, organized and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Solid background in Financial Markets from both a product and conceptual standpoint including relevant regulations, risks and policies, ideally with Trading Desk experience
  • Strong communicator with fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Tertiary education in Finance or business related disciplines
