EDHEC Business School, one of the leading business schools in Europe, with over 7,000 students, has been developing a centre of excellence in finance for many years.
This strategy has led it to undertake important initiatives not only at the research level, notably by setting up the EDHEC-Risk Institute (www.edhec-risk.com) in Nice and London and the EDHEC Infrastructure Institute in Singapore (http://edhec.infrastructure.institute/), but also in the area of Masters programmes, with the creation of a Financial Economics track on its campuses in both Nice and London. This Financial Economics track enjoys a worldwide reputation and one of its Masters programmes was ranked first in the world in the Financial Times Masters in Finance Pre-experience rankings 2017 (http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/masters-in-finance-pre-experience-2017).
Today, in order to capitalise on the success of its strategy of excellence in finance, EDHEC is seeking a director for the Financial Economics track.
This director, under the responsibility of the Head of Graduate Programmes and in cooperation with the Professor and Scientific Director of the Financial Economics track, will be in charge of defining the business content and educational objectives of the track and of the Masters programmes of which it consists. The director will cover teaching coordination and evaluation. A recognised professional, the director will be in charge of developing business partnerships, which constitutes a key point in the development of the Financial Economics track, and will also be charge of the promotion and marketing of the track to both professionals and students.
A genuine project leader, the successful candidate will need to have real expertise and experience in the finance profession and the capacity to manage in a scientific environment.
Perfectly bilingual (English/French), the candidate will need to have a graduate degree to at least Masters level, along with more than 10 years of professional experience. Possession of a doctorate or a PhD would be an additional asset.
