- Monitor all batch flow processing and insure timely completion of endpoints/milestones. Identify delays or bottlenecks using proprietary and vendor tools and resolve or escalate accordingly
- Perform level 1 and level 2 support and resolution for all batch incidents.
- Track incoming and outgoing transmissions ensuring they meet deadlines, escalating to appropriate vendors and Datacenter management when necessary
- Monitor real time performance of the computing environment utilizing automated solutions, Vendor software and in-house proprietary tools
- Respond to all hardware faults or failures requiring escalation and support from outside vendors. - ---- Work with vendors toward resolving these incidents. Report them via problem tracking software
- Respond to all console messages and alerts requiring intervention and action
- Carry out shift and weekend work*L1-AW1

Qualifications:

- Experience in Mainframe batch environment; knowledge of support operations, best practices and processes.
- Knowledge of z/OS Operations
- Understanding of scheduling concepts
- JCL and batch problem diagnostic skills
- Experience with a Scheduling package
- Knowledge of Data Transfer protocols NDM, FTP
- Incident Management
- Manage incidents with infrastructure and application support teams
- Knowledge of an incident management ticketing system
- individual and a team player
- Good verbal and written English communications skills
