Head of Middle Office, PCM - Cash Management - Beijing - 20160802002


Lead GTPS PCM MIDDLE OFFICE (MO) team dedicated to the clients of SG China. Main contact of Front Officers PCM China, and all the SG China Business Lines and the Back Office. Will be additionally in charge of managing the transition for PCM (Project Management role).


Main Responsibilities /Accountabilities / Tasks

Team Leadership And Activity Supervision

  • Coordination of the relation between the clients, internal and external providers, products managers and the Business Lines
  • Quality controls (Conformity towards the procedures, Statistics, Client satisfaction, incident analyzes and set up of the action plans…)
  • Activity controls and organization
  • Follow up and update of the procedures
  • New products presentation, services and Core banking systems evolutions

Business Activity Development

  • Account Management (opening, maintenance, closure) and related tasks
  • Operational controls on non electronic payment instructions and related tasks
  • Cash Management products implementation
  • Clients and sales support and main point of contact
  • Quality review with clients
  • Cross selling and detect sales opportunities

Risk Management

  • Supervision permanence/ Periodic controls
  • Detect potential risks and build action plans to eradicate them
  • As data owner of client identification data:
  • Must monitor the entire life cycle of own client data, including the approval of access rights as well as its delegation and decommissioning from all operating and back-up systems
  • Is in charge of implementing data classification guidelines as well as explaining and documenting exceptions

Candidate Profile

Academic Background (degree and major)

  • University graduate (Master graduate preferred) in the discipline of international trade, finance, business administration or economics

Working Experience / Technical Skills & Know how

  • At least 5 years' banking experience at executive level.
  • Proven experience as team leader/manager

Skills & Competencies

  • Solid product knowledge with at least 3 year experience in relevant roles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Language Skills

  • Strong communication skills and fluent oral and written English

Computer Skill

  • Well versed in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint is a must)
