Software Developer - Connectivity (C++)

Overview

We are currently seeking a Senior Developer in our Exchange Connectivity team to develop and maintain applications, utilities and libraries related to low latency exchange connectivity and real-time market data processing.

Our Exchange Connectivity team are responsible for developing and maintaining applications for the companies Asian exchange connectivity including Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, and Australia. They are forward thinking C++ experts, with an excellent knowledge of OOP, design patterns and Modern C++. In addition, our technologists are excellent communicators, and the ability to collaborate with team members (traders, technologists, and business partners) being key to success in our software development space.

What we're looking for

  • A degree qualified professional with a major in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering.
  • 5+ years work experience
  • Extensive low level C++ and Linux experience.
  • Low level hardware, operating system, and networking knowledge are a plus.
  • A team player who can also work effectively independently.
  • A mindset for reuse and not seek to reinvent the wheel.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and plan for and meet deadlines.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a range of technical and non-technical staff across the organisation.
