About the Business Unit and Team
The Senior Manager/ Manager, Process Design and Improvement sits within the Transformation and Delivery business unit. The Senior Manager's role is to deliver Lean Six Sigma improvement and innovation programmes that drive a differentiated customer experience.

Key responsibilities
As the Senior Manager/ Manager, Process Design & Improvement you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Lead Lean Six Sigma (LSS) improvement programmes and deliver improvements on customer experience, revenue and cost
  • Managing the delivery of Lean projects by: leading and guiding the delivery of project, targeting and utilising specific data, stakeholder engagement and managing project gaol and scope, utilising specific data, stakeholder engagement and managing project goal and scope
  • Provide LSS subject matter expertise to key improvement projects
  • Provide internal consulting in Lean and Six Sigma
  • Provide consultative support and best practice guidance on the deployment of LSS tools and methodologies across the organisation
  • Training in a classroom environment and facilitate hands on exercises and simulations
  • Black Belt and Green Belt course instruction
  • Provide individual mentoring and coaching to Lean Six Sigma practitioners
  • Influence adoption and application of Lean and Customer Centred Thinking, methodology and tools.

To be successful you will have the following experience, skills and/or qualifications:

  • 6+ years' experience as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (Master Black Belt would be highly regarded)
  • 6+ years' experience in a high volume finance environment
  • Proven track record leading multiple LSS/CPI projects simultaneously in large complex organisations, and providing mentoring and coaching to newly trained Black Belts and Green Belts to certification
  • Demonstrated mastery and application of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies during DMAIC projects and Value Stream Analysis
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and change management skills in the areas of business process improvement/re-engineering, process design and data analysis
  • Experience building and growing critical internal stakeholder relationships
  • Exceptional computer skills including operation of Microsoft Office and Minitab
  • University Degree (B.Eng/B.Sc/B.Econ)
  • Graduate degree (MBA/MS) will be highly regarded
  • Experience with LSS deployment in non-manufacturing environment. Ideally within the Service industry.
