  • The Consumer Loans team comprises of Product management, Acquisition Strategy, Customer Engagement & Retention and oversight of sourcing relevant Digital Partnerships. The team is responsible for overall P&L management, delivering sustainable profitable growth.
  • This role is responsible for the development, thought leadership and strategy development for Citi Loans acquisition, optimising product and pricing mix, to achieve both new account and specific early profitability targets. Optimising the Risk, Acceptance and Technology framework to ensure Acquisition Direct Marketing team can maximise new accounts through campaign delivery.


  • Work collaboratively with Digital Sales team to launch competitive acquisition offers within pricing guardrails agreed with Product & Pricing Lead.
  • Review monthly Through The Door (TTD) reporting to;
    • Analyse TTD customer profiles by offer type
    • Identify opportunities and drive initiatives to improve approval rates and reduce cancellation rates
    • Identify opportunities and drive initiatives to improve A/B/C mix against benchmarks
  • Lead quarterly acquisition offer profitability reviews with DM and Digital Sales team, identify metrics for improvement and provide timely recommendations for any changes to market offers
  • Work closely with the Digital Sales team to track acquisition drivers (volume/balances) and expenses against plan & OL
  • Work closely with the Digital Sales team to identify opportunities for volume and revenue growth
  • Consistently track competitor activity and provide recommendations on required changes to offers to ensure sustainable & profitable NTB volumes
  • Lead process improvement & innovation across Acceptance to improve customer satisfaction and business profitability
  • Provide timely guidance to CrOps on volume targets to assist in capacity planning
  • Ensure product and marketing teams are in compliance with internal controls to reduce operational risk and compliance with policies.
  • Ensure Citiphone/Telesales are briefed on items related to Product which impact customer experience.
  • Work with the broader CL team and cross franchise teams to identify opportunities for CL
  • Assess relevancy of digital partners identified by the Partnerships Manager and work together to formulate commercially viable arrangements

  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills. P&L management experience would be an advantage.
  • Business or Marketing degree.
  • 5-7 years experience in Financial Services/Consumer Lending preferred.
Proven stakeholder management and strong leadership skills.
