Business Analyst | Capital Markets

Overview The Risk Services team supports the Commodities and Global Markets Group. You will join a dynamic, geographically distributed team that owns a range of critical, globally used systems, covering areas such as risk and valuation, deal capture, regulatory reporting, reference data and other shared services. This is a great opportunity to become an integral part of a seasoned development team covering a broad range of commodities and financial market asset classes, with the prospect of taking on leading roles as you gain experience. The successful candidate will have experience as a Business Analyst - ideally in the Financial Services Industry. About the Role Your responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating with stakeholders from all levels of the organisation (front office to back office) to gather and clarify requirements
  • Documenting business and functional requirements
  • Creating and reviewing test documentation; d riving user acceptance testing
  • Supporting other members of the delivery teams throughout the software development lifecycle, including
  • Responding to queries from stakeholders and members of the delivery teams
  • Managing issues throughout and post the delivery life-cycle, etc.
About You You will ideally have:

  • Extensive hands-on business analysis experience: 5+ years in financial sector in a BA role
  • Experience with Capital Markets
  • Experience with regulatory transaction reporting projects would be an advantage
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communications to both business and IT staff as required
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, across both IT and business
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise these effectively
  • The ability to work to a deadline and handle pressure
  • An enthusiastic and inquisitive nature with an attention to detail.
