We are currently seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant responsible for sourcing, interviewing and attracting qualified individuals for management, executive and specialist positions which are often complex in nature. The job holder is expected to build a position as a talent advisor, providing market insight and information to hiring managers to enable sound hiring decisions. The role is responsible for supporting recruitment activity in multiple countries and locations including Australia and Hong Kong.
• The ability to influence talent decisions and provide consultative advice which adds measureable value to hiring managers.
• Knowledge of the business units/functions and an understanding of the organization's strategy, business model, operations, financial goals and competitive position (in addition, a general knowledge of corporate business fundamentals, models, finance and management principles is also important).
• The ability to understand the talent needs of hiring managers when opening a requisition and the ability to assess candidate quality, skills and fit likely to have been gained in a similar financial services or professional services organization.
• The ability to influence employment decisions of prospects and candidates and maintain effective relationships with candidates through the recruiting process.
• Knowledge of the labor market(s) and the ability to identify a steady stream of prospective talent in anticipation of future talent needs.
• The ability to maintain and manage relationships with vendors, universities and/or relevant third party organizations.
• The ability to select and use the right channels and messages to find targeted sources of high-quality candidates.
• The ability to leverage technology to locate, engage and attract prospective candidates and the skills required to effectively execute, negotiate and close the recruitment process.
• Is a technical expert with in-depth knowledge of all areas of recruitment and sourcing methodologies.
• Has in-depth knowledge of compensation policies and practices.
• Is able to support ongoing process optimization efforts within Talent Acquisition, effectively (and accurately) use the Applicant Tracking System, supporting other members of Talent Acquisition and working on projects with other areas of HR or the business as required.
• Expert knowledge in end-to-end recruiting including sourcing methodologies, candidate development, cold calling and market mapping
• Strong consulting and sales skills
• Negotiation and influencing skills
• Knowledge of compensation, benefits and location strategies (preferred)
• Excellent client servicing and communication (written and verbal) skills across all organization levels
• Strong knowledge of market trends
• Proficient analytical and reporting skills
• Knowledge and proficiency with applicant tracking systems, HR Systems and Microsoft office packages
